Q. I've read somewhere that many major denominations of the Christian church-
i.e. Methodists, Lutherans, Episcopalians, and others have recently issued
official statements condoning evolution as fact. Is this true, and if so,
what is each denomination's official standing on the subject? [Matt Coulter]
A. I don't know Matt, I haven't seen anything one way or
the other but frankly, it doesn't surprise me. If you will read the
question below you might realize that when momma church (Roman Catholic
Church) makes a move her children (Protestants) aren't very far behind! Oh
well, it's enough to make you sigh!
THE BIBLE DOES NOT SAY THAT GOD CREATED EVERYTHING BY EVOLUTION!
GOD SPOKE THEM INTO EXISTANCE!
Genesis:1:20: And God said, Let the waters bring forth
abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above
the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 1:21 And God created great whales,
and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly,
after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that
it was good. 1:22: And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply,
and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 1:23
And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 1:24 And God said, Let
the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping
thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 1:25 And God
made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind,
and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw
that it was good.
Notice the moves that Catholic Church makes and see how long it takes for
the Protestants to follow! I'm not trying to be mean but just stating the
truth.

Q. The Pope recently stated that the theory of evolution is compatable with
the Bible. Has he forgotten about and God created man in His image What are
your views on this [Anon]
A. I realize that the Pope is looked upon by people as the worlds religious
leader but I don't believe that his opinion is something that we should be
concerned about. If the pope is really saved, then the Holy Spirit will convict
him of false doctrine and he will repent.
Man can come up with all the theories, proposals of ideas, and notions he
wishes but if we are to lean on the scriptures which teach in
Romans 3:2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto
them were committed the oracles of God. 3:3 For what if some did not believe?
shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 3:4 God forbid:
yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest
be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
For the scriptures really say in Genesis 1:26 And God
said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over
the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth
upon the earth. 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of
God created he him; male and female created he them.
Notice that God said in the 26th verse "Let US
make man in OUR image". Yes us, The Father, The Son and The
Holy Spirit. The Son who came to this earth to die for our sins who became
flesh so that we might inherit eternal life. When he came, He came as a man
created in Gods own image. 100% God and 100% man! Not as an ape, Not
as a monkey, But as a man. Let's get real about our beliefs and stand on
the word of God! Not man's theories.
No one has the final authority over the Word of God except God. And believing
this, we also have to believe that God has created us for his Glory and
Edification, not ours! The focus of all of his creation, including man is
for Gods own Purpose and Honor. Scientific theories have no business in the
word of God because they are the craft of men who have nothing better to
do than to try to make Gods word a thing of argument and speculation.
I leave you with a few scriptures to ponder and I thank you for the question.
Proverbs 12:23 A prudent man concealeth knowledge:
but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.
1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is
to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power
of God.
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not
the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither
can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is
foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own
craftiness. 3:20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that
they are vain. 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are
yours;
